The Last Paradise of the Andaman
Koh Lipe is a small island in the southern tip of Thailand, floating in the Andaman Sea close to the Malaysian border and Langkawi island. Part of the Butang archipelago, it is one of the few remaining places in Southeast Asia where you can still find pristine white-sand beaches, crystal-clear water and untouched coral reefs.
The island and its surrounding seas have been protected since 1972 as part of Tarutao Marine National Park — one of the most biodiverse marine reserves in Thailand. No cars, no heavy development: just nature, the sound of the waves and the unhurried pace of island life.
Walk the jungle trails to discover waterfalls, freshwater pools, sea hawks and mouse deer. Snorkel directly from the beach among sea turtles and reef fish. Koh Lipe is not just a destination — it is an experience you carry home with you.
A Bungalow Built on Green Principles
Green View Beach Bungalow sits directly on Pattaya Beach — the most beautiful stretch of Koh Lipe's coastline. Our eco-lodge was conceived from the very beginning around a single idea: that great hospitality and deep respect for the environment are not opposites, but partners.
Every bungalow is built with traditional Thai materials: bamboo, teak wood, earthen tiles and granite. The design catches the natural sea breeze, keeping rooms cool and comfortable without the need for heavy energy use. Bathrooms feature water-saving dual-flush toilets and sealed septic systems that protect the reef.
Today we power 70% of the property with solar energy, eliminate single-use plastic across the resort, and work hand-in-hand with the local Chao Lay (Sea Gypsy) community whose knowledge of these waters is unmatched.
Direct Beach Access
Step off your veranda straight onto Pattaya Beach. Our beach-front bungalows are just 10–20 metres from the water. Free sun beds for all guests.
Bamboo Construction
All bungalows handcrafted with bamboo, teak wood, earthen tiles and granite. Natural ventilation keeps the rooms cool — no AC needed in most bungalows.
Solar Powered
70% of our electricity comes from rooftop solar panels. We are continuously expanding capacity to reach full renewable energy for the entire property.
Marine National Park
We sit inside Tarutao Marine National Park, established 1972. The park fee supports reef conservation. We enforce reef-safe sunscreen for all guests.
Activities on Your Door
Snorkeling, scuba diving, boat trips, kayaking, fishing and Thai massage — all bookable from reception. Our Chao Lay guides know every reef and secret bay.
Local Food & Culture
Authentic Thai cuisine prepared fresh daily. We source ingredients from local fishermen and farmers. Cultural exchange with the Chao Lay community is part of the stay.
Pattaya Beach — The Best Beach on Koh Lipe
Pattaya Beach is the longest and most beautiful beach on Koh Lipe, running along the southern coast of the island. The water is shallow and calm, perfect for swimming and snorkeling. The white sand stays cool even under the tropical sun.
Green View Beach Bungalow occupies a prime position on Pattaya Beach, with direct access at all tide levels. Sunrise and sunset views are spectacular from the beach-front verandas.
